Itinanghal na pinakamautak, pinakamagaling at pinakamatatag ang dalawampu’t limang taong gulang na construction worker at tinaguriang “Probinsyanang Tisay” ng Mindoro na si Amanda Colley Van Cooll, bagay na nagluklok sa kanya bilang bago at ikalawang Pinoy Sole Survivor ng edisyong ito ng Survivor Philippines: Palau.
Si Amanda ang matagumpay na mag-uuwi ng tatlong milyong pisong cash prize matapos niyang matalo ang transsexual “Beauty Queen” na si Justine Ferrer at ang “Girl-Next-Door” na si Jef Gaitan batay sa botong pinagpilian ng pitong Castaways na bumubuo sa jury.
Nang dumating ang merge ng dalawang tribo, nagsimulang magpakitang gilas si Amanda matapos nitong maipanalo ang magkakasunod na individual immunity at reward challenges.
Para makapasok sa Final Three, naipanalo ni Amanda ang tie-breaker face-off challenge sa tribal council laban sa Raketistang si Charles de Vera Fernandez.
Pero nagsimula pa lang ang totoong laban ng Final Three sa pag-uwi nila sa Pilipinas. Hanggang noong Biyernes ng gabi sa ginanap na Live Finale, isang malaking palaisipan pa rin kung sino ang ibinoto ng jury.
Maging ang host ng programang si Paolo Bediones, walang kaalam-alam sa resulta ng botohan kaya’t naging makapigil-hininga ang naging anunsyo.
Sa huli, si Amanda ang nakakuha ng pinakamataas na bilang na boto. Siya ang itinanghal na panalo at mag-uuwi ng pinakamalaking premyong tatlong milyong piso kasama na ang prestihiyosong titulo na Pinoy Sole Survivor.

what i didn't like with amanda, was when she compared her self to justine...paawa effect at personal na buhay na ang dinamay...
Hindi lang talaga maiwasan na maraming hindi makatanggap ng pagkapanalo nya. Very common na yan sa tao cguro, kahit sabihin pa na GAME lang ito.
Hindi nag-sorry c Amanda, coz i think kung anuman yung nasabi nya about Justine eh yun din kc ang galing mismo kay Justine base s mga kwentuhan nila cguro.
Lagi nila cnasabi b4 na "magpakatotoo" cla eh di yon ang ginawa ni Amanda. Gusto nila magpakatoto c Amanda, ayun tuloy ginawa nya.
At kahit nmn ibang castaway eh maiiyak kapag nagpi-plead ka for your family's sake. Eh yun nmn tlaga purpose kung bat cia sumali eh.
So, Amanda deserves the win.

I hope Amanda will apologize to Justine na nong sinabi nyang hindi nya pinaghihirapan ang mga bagay na nasa kay Justine ngaun at minanipula niya ang bf nya..
Anyways, Good luck kay Amanda.. Pero still my sole survivor is Justine.. Cguro kng Jef ung nkalagay na name don sa last vote, tapos mag vovote ulit, then the Jury saw already in the big screen ung mga ngyari sa camp, i think Justine will win.

Ayoko na sanang mag-comment but i remember Jef's response to Mika's 'interrogation' na dapat ang top 3 ang hindi gaanong nakasakit sa kapwa. All i can say is that kung balat-sibuyas ka ay wag ka ng magsasali sa ganyang laro. Survivor is not a congeniality contest. I agree you have to win over the jury, after all sila ang maghuhusga in the end. But what's important is to earn the jury's respect kung nagpakita ka ng lakas, galing, tatag at talino.
Amanda won because the jury knew her capacity and strength. She earned their respect!!!
Im not surprised that Charles voted Justine. Di naman nag-iisip yun eh. Di objective ang judgment. Si Echo - balat-sibuyas. what can you expect. Si Zuki naman-- malamang crush nya si Justine.
Why can't we just let it go? Don't we have anything more important to do other than bickering for the loss of somebody who we really don't know personally nor care for? It's just a game. That's entertainment for us. The country's fate is not a stake here. Let's not get too carried away emotionally.

personally, before justine's outburst, akala ko talaga landslide vote at si mika lang boboto kay amanda, pero apparently, somehow. someway, napabago nito ang decision ng ibang mga jury.
some of you may say na amanda was at times arrogant, pero kahit si justine guilty rin naman nito at nakita ito ng jury sa 2nd to the last TC (making faces, namecalling, at racial discrimination) , while most of the time amanda was cool, and quiet.
ika nga eh, yung sob story ni amanda at the last TC finally sealed the deal and cemented the decision of the jury.
kaya nga maganda ang Survivor dahil hindi lang ito palakasan, pautakan at patagalan kundi a test of character din. at dun nagbase ang jury sa pagpili ng Sole Survivor.
It's possible that GMA7 edited it in such a way that it will be more exciting to watch. It's the same way with the reading of the ballots. The staff would make sure that all ballots are read first before a winner can be determined. Pa-suspense siyempre. Hindi iyung aabot sa 4 votes agad ang isa while ang isa ay 0, 1 or 2 votes pa lang or in any other combination.
Pero I'm not saying that there was any tampering of ballots kasi GMA7 will never allow that and will never go down to that level.
As for Marvin ang Shaun, my guess is that they would rather vote for a real lady standout who has shown her ability to play within the rules of the game than a ... you know what I mean. Lakaki sila eh. Besides baka nadala din siya sa sinabi ni Tara na "I can give my vote to ..." Also, nasabi din ni Shaun na naging iba ang tingin niya kay Justine after the bad mouthing incident at the camp while Amanda stood her ground and still "fought" instead of simply quitting as opposed to what Justine wanted.
As for Mika, well ... it's obvious from the start.
It appears that Tara had the swing vote even though she got outwitted by Mika.
Any objections are welcome. Wala lang foul words.
And lol at least Justine had a *** change, I can't even get a haircut lol. Has it ever occurred to you that the Jury probably chose Amanda because they just...you know...PREFERRED HER?

As for the people complaining in the comments, I don't think that there is any better jury to decide who is the definitive Sole Survivor. These people were with Jef, Justine and Amanda for 39 days, 24/7. I don't think it was simply Amanda's story that got them going. They know the three better probably better than we do. The tampering with votes theory does not fit, I mean, if you really wanted to tamper with it why not make Justine, who was obviously leading the polls in order to please the viewers?
The Jury just preferred Amanda to win. Not to mention the fact that it was a single vote that decided it all....do yeah, I don't think it had anything to do with it.

Hindi mahalaga kung sinsabi man nilang hindi ka deserving. Isa lang ang naramdaman ko, mabuti kang anak at matimbang ang naging dahilan ng pagsali mo sa survivor. Yung pagmamahal mo sa'yong mga magulang ang magdadala sa'yo sa marami pang pagtatagumpay. sana lahat ng anak ay katulad mo na siguradong hindi pababayaan ang kanilang mga magulang hanggang sa pagtanda.

Deserving man o hindi sana lahat ng anak katulad nya na naghahangad ng mabubuting bagay para sa mga magulang nila kahit isakripisyo ang sarili. hindi ko man sya nakasama o alam ang buong buhay nya eh alam kong naging mabuting anak sya kaya ibinigay ng Panginoong sa kaniya ang PAGTATAGUMPAY! MABUHAYY KA AMANDA AT ANG LAHAT NG MGA ANAK NA HINDI MAGPAPABAYA SA KANILANG MGA MAGULANG HANGGANG PAGTANDA....
So to remove all speculations of tampering with the votes. They should show the video of who voted for who like in the US version.
And to the people who say 'let it go its done' that is why Filipinos do not progress
It is not fair to Amanda that a great part of the nation is saying that Justine should have won. First off, Justine had an unfair share of the game since she wasn't around the castaways for most of the time. They weren't able to witness her entire self, and, apart from being given a second chance (though the execution of this second chance was not well thought out), her being voted out after the first three days is the only fair enough thing that happened to her (that is, because, the 7 other Koror members all felt the same during that time).
While Justine is a winner, she is still not the sole survivor, and the jury's decision was just fair. Had Justine had a Mika for a friend then she would have probably also been able to bend the jury's decision. It was all fair.
Cheers to the jury. Cheers to Justine for the determination and realization of faults. Thank you Justine for clarifying your personality last night. I really didn't like you during that Carol, Shaun, and Amanda incident, but I've got to admit I wanted you to win through out the Isla Purgatoryo challenges especially against Cris, and that you aren't such a bad person, especially since you were open and good enough to say sorry on national tv (not a lot of people could do that). Cheers to you.

However, Amanda came out as the jury's choice. We can't change that anymore. Lahat tayo may kanya kanyang bets na nanalo sa ating puso & isipan. Wag na natin pilitin na paghaluin ang jury's choice at personal choice. Let's accept their votes and the outcome na lang.
The show was a success as far as GMA is concerned. They got the public hooked to their station. I'm sure they have something in store for the other CAs even though they lost in the game. Let's look forward to that.
Meanwhile, I'm going to admit that I've been an Amaika.fan from the start to the finish. That's why I'm celebrating up to now. Congrats to them

Amanda knew the weakness of the jury and this poverty-stricken country. She appealed to the jury through their compassion. Her drama was worth a piece to end the show like a telenovela which almost Filipinos love to watch. After
her winsome night, she might be saying to some of the jury. Gotcha! I have nothing against Amanda hehe.
The jury's assessment were torn upon who's worthy of of the title and who needed the 3M money most.

I’m or may I say we behalf of my family and friends very dismay what happen last night in your show. In the end Mika is the real score she is the great manipulator. Di ko lang maintindihan bakit sya ang huling tinawag para sa magtanong sa final three,which is alam ng staff ng survivor Philippines na kaya nyang ilaglag si Justine. Mika still ruled ‘til the end. Some of the Jury says that they hurted badly kamo sobrang nasaktan sila pero sino ang masisi?Sila rin,sila na parang ang bilis magpauto. I was so shock when Amanda didn’t apologize for the family of Justine for the insulting, and also to the statement manggagamit sya ng lalaki at hindi nya pinaghihirapan ang mga bagay anuman meron sya. Justine is a transpinay yes! Did she do something quite insulting her (Amanda) personally?hindi naman when you look to the situation Justine’s opinion is base only in what she observe Amanda’s attitude in the island not a personal life she(Justine) play fair enough to us to know how great she was. to be honest, I did not expect you will have the 4 votes from the jury... Mika did help you much
dapat hatian mo siya. (hehehe...), pero iyon chance na binigay niya sa iyo to have your testimony with matching tears then compare and condemn the personal life of jef and justine were a good show to the 4 jurors to vote for you... hindi lang naman ikaw ang may parents na at old age nagtrabaho pa, besides 50 is not that old.. Sina Jef and Justine are supporting their family too...good for you, your parents are still capable of working, kaya nga the two has to do their stuff to finance the living of their family to survive... the means of living here is very high compare sa inyo, kayo may ibayad pa, how many times kaya sila Jef & justine pinutolan ng kuryente dahil walang ibayad, no one from the jury ask that. Kaya si Mika ang nagpapanalo sa iyo.
To the end, Mika is a good manipulator...sana wala nang gagawa nito sa next SP, because it is not a good example, kita mo naman ang daming mga batang nanonood...at sabi mo wala kang pinagsisisihan.
Nasa iyo na ang 3M sana your plans and dreams will materialized na wala kang maapakan na tao.
Problema kasi sa atin, yung kabutihan ng isang tao, nawawala na kapag naka gawa siya ng isang pagkakamali.
Til here na lang, atleast napalabas ko na kung anu yung nararamdaman ko na hindi nanalo si Justine.

When Amanda was proclaimed as the winner, I can say that even the fans of the other team conceded contentedly with the result. Everyone cheered for the tearful yet happy Amanda.
Now, women once again proved their worth that they can excel in many areas that many thought man dominates.
Congrats Amanda, Jeff and Justine! You all are winners.
