Each first day of the New Year, in the Catholic circle, is dedicated to World Day of Peace. For 2009, Pope Benedict XVI addresses the entire world and reminds all people of goodwill of the intimate tie between poverty and peace. His World Day of Peace message is entitled ‘Fighting Poverty to Build Peace’. The peace message that the pope gives us for 2009, surprisingly, connects us to the social teaching of the church – often labeled as the Church’s ‘well-guarded secrets’. In speaking about poverty, the pope goes beyond the material poverty that ails the world. It reminds the world of the relation between poverty and its spiritual and the moral dimensions, particularly in affluent societies.
The reference to the spiritual and moral implications of poverty lays the ground in viewing poverty beyond the usual sociological and empirical data. It urges us to deal with the poor by clearly recognizing the moral imperative that we all share in a single divine plan and that we all are called to form one family in which all – individuals, peoples and nations – model their behaviour according to the principles of fraternity and responsibility. The World day of Peace message, indirectly, addresses the United Nation’s millennium development goals (MDG). While it speaks of poverty reduction, it also questions the perspective of poverty from the standpoint of simple demography. The document particularly cites the successful poverty reduction by almost half from 1981 to the present, even in the face of increasing population. This belief is further reinforced by the fact that certain countries have recently emerged on the international scene as new economic powers, and have experienced rapid development specifically because of the large number of their inhabitants. Moreover, among the most developed nations, those with higher birth-rates enjoy better opportunities for development. In other words, population is proving to be an asset, not a factor that contributes to poverty. The message also addresses the pandemic diseases, such as malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS. No doubt, they affect the wealth-producing sectors of the population and they are a significant factor in the overall deterioration of conditions in the country concerned. These pandemic diseases are major cause of poverty. Yet the document speaks of addressing, too, the moral issues connected to these diseases. The imperative of making available to poorer peoples the necessary medicines and treatment is a morality issue. It is not simply a question of the international rules protecting intellectual property but a moral issue of a determined effort to promote medical research and innovative forms of treatment, as well as flexible application, when required, so as to guarantee necessary basic healthcare to all people. Then the document speaks of child poverty. No doubt, in addressing the issue of poverty, the children prove to be the most vulnerable victims. It reminds us that almost half of those living in absolute poverty today are children. The pope invites us to take the side of children when we tackle the issue of poverty. Among others, this would include caring for mothers, commitment to education, access to vaccines, medical care and drinking water, and actions safeguarding the environment. It reminds us that when the family is weakened, it is inevitably children who are affected most. The other area that needs particular attention from the moral standpoint is the relationship between disarmament and development. The pope points out that ‘immense military expenditure, involving material and human resources and arms, is in fact diverted from development projects for peoples, especially the poorest who are most in need of aid’. Another issue directly connected to the fight against material poverty is the current food crisis, which places in jeopardy the fulfillment of basic needs. This crisis, as the pope points out, is characterized not so much by a shortage of food, as by difficulty in gaining access to it and by different forms of speculation. The resulting malnutrition causes grave mental and physical damage to the population, depriving many people of the energy necessary to escape from poverty unaided. This contributes to the widening gap of inequality, and can provoke violent reactions. Fighting poverty would require a strong sense of global solidarity between rich and poor countries, as well as within individual countries, including affluent ones. Benedict XVI proposes a ‘common code of ethics’ that consists of norms based not upon mere consensus, but rooted in the natural law inscribed by the Creator on the conscience of every human being. Does not every one of us sense deep within his or her conscience a call to make a personal contribution to the common good and to peace in society? Moreover, if the poor are to be given priority, then there has to be enough room for an ethical approach to economics on the part of those active in the international market, an ethical approach to politics on the part of those in public office, and an ethical approach to participation capable of harnessing the contributions of civil society at local and international levels. International agencies themselves have come to recognize the value and advantage of economic initiatives taken by civil society or local administrations to promote the emancipation and social inclusion of those sectors of the population that often fall below the threshold of extreme poverty and yet are not easily reached by official aid. In conclusion, the pope directly locates the fight against poverty right at the heart of the Church's social teaching that has always been concerned with the poor. At the time of the Encyclical Letter Rerum Novarum, the poor were identified mainly as the workers in the new industrial society; in the social teaching of Pius XI, Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI and John Paul II, new forms of poverty were gradually explored, as the scope of the social question widened to reach global proportions. This expansion of the social question to the worldwide scale has to be considered not just as a quantitative extension, but also as a qualitative growth in the understanding of man and the needs of the human family. These principles of social teaching tend to clarify the links between poverty and globalization and they help to guide action towards the building of peace. Among these principles, it is timely to recall in particular the “preferential love for the poor”, in the light of the primacy of charity, which is attested throughout Christian tradition, beginning with that of the early Church (cf. Acts 4:32-36; 1 Cor 16:1; 2 Cor 8-9; Gal 2:10). I join my voice to that of Pope Benedict XVI in the appeal to all people of goodwill to fight poverty as we build peace. Nice piece brother. Just so sad to think that our country should not be experiencing poverty this extreme had we had leaders who put the welfare of the people their priority. since my childhood, I heard people say this country is rich in natural resources and therefore should not be experiencing financial hardships. As I grew up, I saw that this was true. However, I also learned one thing; we are also rich with corrupt and hypocrite politicians. And unfortunately, we have them rule us time and time again.
When will we ever overcome poverty? Let's get rid of these greedy politicians first. They're the very reason why quality of life in this country is fast deteriorating. we have corrupt officials because we the people who voted them are being corrupted. blame ourselves. but this can be chamged by being morally upright and that start from ourselves. stop blaming look for solution.
Brother,world leaders, kings and even the UN (UNITED NOTHING) can't solve world peace. Peace can be attained here on planet earth when Jesus Christ comes the second time around.
Your leader is talking about globalization, is he initiating this one world government, one world religion and one world currency? Is your leader the antichrist? What prompted you to think that the Pope was initiating one world government, one world religion, and one world currency. I didn't see a part of the article that says so. I don't know your religion but what made you think the Pope was antiChrist? When could a religious leader who speak of peace and unity be an antichrist. Do you belong to those religions who bombard their followers with speeches of hatred and false infos about other religions. If so, open your mind. It takes more than faith to know the true christian religion.
And by the way, world leaders never solve world peace. They try to attain it. Hope you never become a world leader. I am a born again christian, i have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my Savior thru His PRICIOUS BLOOD, i am a friend of God. I dont have any religion but a personal relation with Jesus. My mind is very wide open because the spirit of God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is in it and the kingdom of God is in my heart. Look! How can we build peace if in this little space we made word-war? Poverty is inevitable. This was prophesied in the holy book. (Believe it if you were Christian.) World leaders, even church leaders cannot help it. God's word is mighty. "Kapag Kanyang pinanukala, Kanya namang papangyarihin". Corrupt government officials only worsen the poverty that is why we don't attain peace. Since our government cannot afford to offer us peaceful society thru eradication of poverty. We must ensure that in our deppest of hearts-peace lies within. A peace in God, a peace in Christ. A peace that we are waiting for Jesus' second advent. Love you all! Peace be with you brother Abaya. Now you are speaking about going to heaven and how to attain it. You even quoted a bible verse. I have friends who are also born agains. And they've quoted the same verse in switching faith. You should realize that we could sit down before our computers for ten years and still would not agree on how to attain salavation.
Let's start though with the most basic requirement: Learn how to respect one's faith. This is one thing you members of born against and other sects never learn. Brother, please analyze first in a deeper sense about the article of brother jun mercado.

tsk! tsk! tsk! Fighting poverty, for the past few weeks I was and still am trying to tell anyone, given any chance that fighting poverty can be done. Let us stop all criticisms and think for a second. What can we offer as a solution.
I knew since childhood that Filipino people are very good critics. This time, let us not fool around with that talent anymore. Offer your cards in the table and let us not waste time blabbing nonsense. I have joined an organization that aims to fight poverty and hunger. We brainstorms and came-up with a few specific solutions and working models. Have any of you? Who among you can offer his time and GOD-given talent to try, even for once to help the poor? I challenge anyone of you! Now, not anytime soon. Do you have anything to offer. I am telling you my friends, poverty and hunger may be inevitable but we all have our hearts to offer. There are solutions, forget the barriers. Start the programs that you have been thinking, or else share it. If we will not start now, then when? God bless you. I had my share of fighting against insurgency. I am a soldier, besides the part trying to be a philanthropist or simply a good Samaritan. It is really hard to attain peace even domestically. Both the communist and the secessionist movements do not have any solid reform or agenda to offer. I am not saying that we, the legit armed forces do have.I tried to work it out on my part to set aside the use of guns. I tried pushing programs in Civic-Military Operations, wherein we involve the community on a hand in hand activities to let them know that the government cares. But it wasn't enough to solve the problems at hand. I do not see a future in the armed struggle. Poverty is inevitable, it is the root cause of having those leftist or secessionist movement in our society. No-one with a gun would want to address it.They will lose their reason to maintain their guns and whatever macho power that they do think it gives them. I almost died, the love i had for my country nearly did. My family was shattered.Now all I had is my son. But I stood still, almost but never moved. I knew the Lord Jesus was there when that deathblow came upon my life. He comforted me, showed himself into my dream and took me to paradise even for a short while. My mother went also to Heaven last december 1, 2006 who at the last minute of her breath accepted Jesus as her personal savior, a born again christian. Our youngest niece(2 yrs old) in our family had been utilized by God to give us the assurance that our mother went straight to Heaven because according to her dream, she saw our mamang walking in a very beautiful place walking with Jesus.Praise God! Alan,lahat tayo ay makasalanan, mahal na mahal tayo ng Diyos (Jehovah) kaya pinadala nya ang kanyang bugtong na anak na si Jesus para tayo tubusin tayo thru His precious Blood at nangyari iyan 2000 years ago. I am not really good in this type of, at times heated discussion, but I will just share what I also believe re topic on poverty. I think we all are one in wanting to reduce POVERTY and for FILIPINOS to have Quality of Life including the Poor and for us to live in a PEACEful place. I think there is no ONE solution, not just one organization nor just the government, to fight poverty. WE ALL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING! within our capability.. instead of always Blaming/Criticizing and depending or waiting for the gov't officials, etc.to solve POVERTY... because ...we all can or may be affected directly or indirectly, even how rich a person is! even how religious a person is! because we are not isolated, we live in a society surrounded with social problems! We or our family or friends could be a victim of snatching, thief/robbery or carnapping or kidnapping or murder or other criminality, usually related to poverty, thus, we have to do something! Poverty is a situation that CAN and MUST be CHANGE! and I think each one of us have personal and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, regardless of whether we are RICH or POOR! religious or non-religious Poverty has many causes... external factors are less or beyond our control but there are also internal factors w/c are WITHIN OUR CONTROL. I don't believe in the rich always doling out to the poor! The poor should also do something, the least they could do is to be RESPONSIBLE! which is within their control. How? ...this will be taken up next time ... Fighting Poverty to Build Peace!..

He was able to watch "Evan, Almighty!"... and he was enlightened.. You can change the world through ARK.... And he is now committed in doing ARK work in his life... SUPPORT GAWAD KALINGA TO BUILD HOMES FOR THE POOR AND TO BUILD PEACE May we have a real "Happy New Year" wish ko lang! I don't think that the call of the Pope Benedict XVI is realistic enough. If they're sincere, they should start doing the reforms in the church itself. The superfluous living of the priest must be revolutionized back to the example of simplicity and humility of St. Francis of Asisi. As long as religious belief and dogmas is in the front calling, there will be no end of hypocrisy and dichotomy. Let us emulate the real meaning of universal faith. In the Philippines there is a vast properties that belongs to the church that have tenants with meager earning on, how could you justify it? There are some Bishop in their sermons always vocals about the reforms of the government because of corruption but in their fellow priest could't even say something to stop exploiting the masses, they just keep mum of the lies. Why is it, are you afraid of the truth? You are vigilant of the weaknesses and illnesses in the society externally but you failed to be aware of the illnesses and weaknesses of your own internal self.
Look at the politics in your system, you've become a monster. You preach all the goodness but those words is just empty thoughts. Why can't you reflect of what's going on? I know the bible and have read the it since i was young, i studied in a catholic school but i never knew and understood the Lord until my life was struck by misery. During the most painful moment of my life, the Lord God showed himself unto me. You'll never see him have a specific face, but You'll know He is Him. He took me to a Holy Place where Holy people meet. The most amazing thing happened when I woke up, I was filled with peace. Not any amount of anger or pain was in my heart. I longed for Him, and forgot all my suffering. Now I knew the reason for my pain and suffering, for me to learn to call on Him and have a true relationship with Him. You want evidence brother ocram? Do not wait to suffer something as difficult as I had, pray that the bible wisdom be known to you. There are two kinds of corruption, a one way corruption and two way corruption. One way corruption is about those people in the position, either elected or appointed by someone we elected, and use their position for personal gain. An example would be awarding contracts to relatives/friends. This is the palakasan system. The two way corruption is one where there is a giver and a taker. An excellent example is the transaction between a traffic violator and a traffic enforcer. This is the padulas system. Eliminate the palakasan / padulas system and corruption is minimized. Less corruption, less poverty, less hunger and peace is built. But how do we eliminate the palakasan/padulas system? Even the Church has failed in this area. Only if the Church has guided its flock well, we will not be in this mess we are in right now. The Church teaches the rightwus path and the people don't seem to follow. But something can still be done. The Church can still play a huge role in the CHANGE that we all seek. This is not just about religion. This is about attitude, way of thinking, a different mindset, a whole new perspective. We need a different approach and strategy. If we want to eliminate palakasan and padulas system, we need to capture first the imagination of our people. But not a single advocacy is working on this strategy. We have thousands of advocacies around us and yet not a single one seems to create a dent. Why? Because not a single on has captured the imagination of our people. C (CHRISTIAN): Do you not believe the Bible to be the Word of God? M (MUSLIM): Before I say yes or no, we should clarify what is the meaning of "Bible". The word "Bible" is derived from the Greek "Biblia" which means books. C: Yes! The Bible consists of different books, but they are words of God. M: When we Muslims say "word of God," we refer to the pure word of God. We cannot accept books as the word of God if they are concoctions. The Bible today consists of the words of translators, writers, and narrators, and contradictions, revisions, fabrications and fallacies. Then, generally, does it seem justified to consider those words to be the word of God? C: What do you mean? M: I believe my words are very clear, but perhaps you cannot believe them to be true. Look! When we say "word of God," we must have criteria, because not all books are the words of God. The Bible must be 1) perfect 2) holy 3) free from fallacies and 4) free from contradiction. C: Is the Bible not perfect and holy? I believe the Bible has no fallacies or contradictions. M: Allow me to state the reason why we Muslims do not accept the whole Bible to be the Word of God. C: Okay, tell me. M: The Bible in your hand today I say, is not perfect. God is perfect, therefore His word must be perfect. C: Why is the Bible not perfect? M: First, the Bible now in your hand is a translation from the so-called "original writings". No sane translator can claim that his translation is perfect or that it has as accurate as the original. C: What is your proof? M: We Muslims have our sacred book written in Arabic—the Qur’aan. There are Muslim translators and writers who have attained excellence in English and Arabic, yet in their translations from Arabic to English they admit that such translations are not the same as the original, whether in expression or in exact meaning. Today, no single Muslim will believe that any translation of the Qur'aan from Arabic to another language will bear the same value and occuracy as the Arabic Qur'aan. C: What I need is proof, not explanation. M: If you need direct proof, look at your own Bible: In 1611 - Christian Era (CE), you have the "King James Version." Then you changed it to the "New King James Version." Revised Standard Version then the "New Revised Standard Version. For the Catholic Version now you have the "New Catholic Version." C: English is a growing language. That is the reason they sometimes changed a word but its meaning is the same. M: If you insist that only some words were changed but the meaning is still the same, then what is the meaning of begotten? C: Why do you mention this word? M: Because I am proving to you that translators of the Bible have not only changed the word itself, but changed the meaning, which substantiates my point that the Bible today is not perfect due to mistakes and the common defects of translation. Christian Ministers, Priests, Pastors, etc. do not fail to utter the word begotten in John 3:16. But in the translations of modern scholars in the middle of 19th century and in all subsequent translations of the Bible, the word begotten (past participle of "beget") has been eliminated. Because the word "begotten" denotes sexual connotation which is not applicable to God. "To beget," means to sire through sexual intercourse as animals do. According to science, human beings belong to the Animal Kingdom. God is far above and disassociated from animal nature and instinct. C: But that is only one! It will not change my belief that the Bible is perfect and it is the word of God. M: I only laid down one reason why Muslims do not accept the Bible to be the Word of God. Another is 1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." That passage can no longer be found in all modern translations of the Bible. Please open the English translations of the Bible in the early 19th century and compare them with the modern translations: you will find that they have not only changed the words, but the meaning and Biblical stories in it. C: Give me one story only if you are telling the truth. M: Okay, and please feel relax. Do you remember the woman who was caught in the act of adultery, then the Scribes and Pharisees brought this woman to Jesus? That story is in John 8:1-11. It is either put inside brackets or in a footnote with the indication that it is "not found in the Most Ancient Authorities; Many Manuscripts and early Translations do not have this passage." The "New International Version" of the Bible, Copyright 1973, 1978 on the top of Chapter 8 of John says; " THE EARLIEST AND THE MOST RELIABLE MANUSCRIPTS AND OTHER ANCIENT WITNESSES DO NOT HAVE JOHN 7:53, JOHN 8:1-11." Thus they separated John 8:12-59. Would you still insist that the Bible is perfect? C: God is Perfect, therefore His word must be perfect! M: I agree with you, God is Perfect. That is why I put perfection as one of our criteria to identify the word of God. However I am only using your own Bible to show that there are omissions and additions in your so-called "Word of God"! If God Himself delets or adds His own words, no problem at all! But human beings have done it. C: Perhaps I can agree with you that the Bible is not perfect. M: The second criterion that the word of God must be holy: Look at the Bible, what is the difference between it and pornographic Penthouse and PlayBoy Magazines? C: WHERE IS PORNOGRAPHY? M: THE STORY OF THE TWO PROSTITUTES DAY AFTER DAY: Ezekiel 23:1-49. .AND NUDISM: 2 Samuel 6:20, Genesis 9:19-21, 2 Samuel 11:1-27. HOW HOLY IS THE BIBLE? IT CONTAINS ONANISM (COITUS INTERRUPTUS), SEXUAL INTERCOURSE AND INCEST STORIES. In Genesis 38:9, Genesis 19:31-37, Genesis 35:22, 2Samuel 13:1-14, 2Samuel 16:22, Genesis 38:15-50. When there is no other food, a person who is starving may eat food containing with impurities to save his life. But what do you think of a person who he eats impure food while he has the option of pure food? The Qur'aan is the option: it is a perfect (pure) word of God that will answer all your problems. People are very meticulous when choosing their spouse, car, clothes, and even tooth brush… But concerning their Book which teaches “everything in life,” they do not use reason or mental capability. Ironic, isn’t it? They say, “the Bible is the book of all books,” yet it is full of descripancies and has been revised from time to time. Even Christian scholars admitted the defects in the Bible. Read the preface of the “Revised Standard Version” of the Bible—1971. The “Jehovah ‘s Witnesses” in their “Awake Magazine”—Sept. 8,1957, they said, “50,000 errors in the Bible”, and the Seventh Day Adventist’s prophetess Mrs. Ellen Gold White, stated; “The Bible we read today is the work of many copyists…But copyists have not been infallible, and God most evidently has not seen fit to preserve them altogether from error in transcribing.” Bible commentary, vol. 1, p.14., by Ellen G. White. Great Christian leaders of the world do not sincerely believe the Bible to be the “Word of God”: If they did, they would not formulate laws or legalize things that contradict the basic teachings of the Bible. Instead, they separate the laws of the Bible from affairs of the State. Why do they uphold democracy, socialism, capitalism, etc. rather than the way (system) designed by God? If the reason is due to History (that the Bible had not been effective to resolve the illness in the society), then logically the Bible is not the Word of God. Because the Word of God is perfect and practical. Finally, the Catholics and Protestants are fighting over the credibility of the Bible, about which Bible is authentic... Bapa,pabor sa mga pari at madre,iman,rabbi at pastor ang pagpaparami ng anak dahil mas maraming bata mas maraming magpapabinyag,magpapakasal,mas maraming pera ang mapupunta sa simbahan at kung maraming naghihirap,mas maraming dahilan ang simbahan para manghingi ng donasyon at maawa ang mga malambot ang kalooban na magbigay ng pera,damit,pagkain sa simbahan para matulongan ang mga kapus-palad na kung aalamin mo ng husto hindi naman mga kapuspalad ang nakikinabang kungdi ang mga kamag-anak,kaibigan at mga taong malapit sa mga alagad ng simbahan. Sa totoo lang gusto ng simbahan na maraming tao ang naghihirap para may dahilan silang lumikom ng pondo na gagamitin kuno para sa mga mahirap pero hindi naman mga mahirap ang nakikinabang kungdi sila mismo mga buwaya sa lipunan...pasensya na po kayo pero halos lahat ng nakikita kung organisasyon ng mga relihiyon ay halos iisa ang kanilang layunin to collect wealth in behalf of sufferring people. Sa totoo lang masahol pa sa mga puta ang mga organisasyong wala ng ginawa kundi lokohin ang mga tao para sa kanilang pansariling kaginhawahan. The pope,the priest,the nuns,the pastors,the rabbi´s,the imans should preach to their flocks to discipline themselves and have enough self-control para maiwasan ang makagawa ng bata na wala naman makakain dahil mismong magulang nga ay hirap pa sa paghanap ng makakain. Isa pang pwedeng gawin ng mga malibog na hindi makontrol ang kalibogan kung pwedeng magparaos sa pamamagitan ng pagsalsal ay mas mabuti para walang batang mabubuo ng wala sa panahon.Ang mga mag-asawang hindi makontrol ang kanilang sarili na huwag magtalik....please advice them gayahin nila ang mga manok sa puwet na lang tumitira para itlog ang lalabas hindi sanggol...24(BD)known as BackDoor ay syang ginagawa ng mga taong ayaw makabuo ng bata pero gusto makatikim ng ligaya na dulot ng pagtatalik.Maraming paraan ang mag-asawa na pwedeng gawin kung itoý ituturing nilang malinis at mabuting paraan para hindi magbunga ang kanilang pagniniig. Tingnan nyo mga koreano mahilig sa 69 kaya kaunti lang ang anak nila dahil pwede naman paligayahin ng isa´t-isa ang kanilang asawa na hindi makakabuo ng sanggol. Dapat ang paaralan,simbahan at gobyerno ang mag-umpisa na turuan ang kanilang mamamayan kung paano mag-enjoy ng sex ang mag-asawa na hindi makakabuo ng bata sa sinapupunan ng babae dahil kawawa lang ng mga batang isinisilang na wala naman pagkain nakalaan para sa kanila dahil magulang nga nila hirap pa sila sa paghanap ng makakain. Kung gusto nyo talagang mapuksa ang kahirapan ay may paraan pero manyayari lang ´yon kung ang gobyerno,paaralan at simbahan ay taus-pusong tutulong at gagampanan ang kanilang tungkulin na matulungan makontrol ang paglaganap ng kahirapan dala ng sobrang pagdami ng populasyon. Naalala ko noon sa amin probinsya noong kaunti pa lang ang tao,malinis pa ang ilog,sapa at mga kanal.Kahit saan may hinog na prutas ng mga bungang kahoy makakain kung ikaw ay nagugutom,pero ng dumami ang populasyon,dumami na ang basura sa ilog,sapa at kanal at mga prutas kahit putot pa ay hindi na pinaliligtas dahil iyon na lang pamatid gutom ng mga taong wala ng makain. Ngayon sabihin nyo sa buong mundo na ang pagdami ng populasyon ay isang kayamanan...oo mayaman sila sa populasyon pero mayaman din sila sa pollusyon, mayaman sila sa mamamayan kriminal,mayaman sila sa mga taong tambay,mayaman sila sa mga taong wala naman pakinabang,iyan ang katotohanan mayroon ang mga bansang mayaman sa populasyon...tingnan nyo nga ang mga kababayan natin ultimo ipis,daga,ahas,aso´t pusa,baboy atbp pang hindi dapat kinakain ng tao ay kinakain nila para lang may pantawid gutom. Walang masama magparami ng anak basta kaya ng magulang nila na pakainin,papag-aralin at bigyan ng maayos na tahanan...because even the birds and some animals,first prepares their homes before having a family. Mga taong basta na lang gumagawa ng bata ay parang mga baboy,ipis,daga,lamok at linta dahil ang katwiran nila basta may taong bubuhay sa kanila ay mabubuhay rin sila. Tao pa bang matatawag o mga parasitong nilalang ang basta na lang magpaparami at iaasa sa gobyerno,simbahan at awa ng kapwa ang kanilang ikabubuhay. Ang dami ng nagugutom,ang dami ng kriminal bunsod ng kahirapan dadagdagan pa ba natin o babawasan na lang? Bro, tama ka na ang direktang nagpapahirap talaga sa atin ay itong pagdami ng populasyon. Ayaw lang tukuyin direkta ng mga namumuno at ng mga media kasi ang populasyon ang naglalagay sa kanila sa puwesto at populasyon din ang nagppataas ng ratings ng media. The more na maghihirap ang mga tao, the more na madali silang lokohin. At kung mapansin niyo, yang mga pinifeature sa TV na mahihirap, isang kahig isang tuka, ay iyun talagang maraming anak, meron ng junior, may akay-akay pa na paslit. Haay kelan maliwanagan ang masa...Sabi ng iba, " e masarap kasi e." Well, no wonder madaming mga batang itinatapon ng mga makakapal na ina sa lansangan!

According to Holy Scriptures many will called on Jesus name but not all of them could be saves. So it is very clear for all of us that read about the Book of Revelation about what is going to happened in the future of mankind,that out of zillions populations only 144,000 thousand choosen people that are blessed by Holy Spirit going to Heaven,all the rest will suffered in hell. Ang tanong kasama ka ba sa napili at tinandaan na ng Banal na Spiritu ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng pag-utos sa kanyang mga anghel na tandaan ang mga taong karapat-dapat maligtas. Kaya ang tanging paraan na lang para hindi mapunta sa impyerno ay tanggapin si Hesus Kristo at iwasan ng gumawa ng kasalanan,ugaliin magdasal lagi at ng sa gayon ay hindi makalimutan ng Diyos na isa ka sa mga taong karapat-dapat iligtas dahil ikaw ay nagbago na at katanggap-tangap sa Kaharian ng Diyos. Sa Langit wala ng manloloko,sugarol,lasenggero,babaero,lalakero,mamamatay-tao,magnanakaw dahil tanging may malinis na puso lang ang maliligtas...so those who has evil heart no need to dream of going to heaven dahil hanggang dito na lang sa mundong ito ang inyong mararating. I live and eat 3x a day,i considered myself lucky of having that luxury but what about those people around the world who are not only hungry,but sufferring in pain due of their illness,due of avoidable wars(many victims of war)used to live a peaceful life but because of war they felt they live in hell everyday of their life. abaya,i do agree with "sos"that over population the main cause of all the problem this planet earth has...just makes a expirement of a poultry.If you raise a poultry of chicken within your capacity to take good care of it,those chicks will grow healthy,happy and lovely but try double their numbers,you will see some of them undernourish,lonely,others chicks turn violent and the fighting ten times more than those small numbers you raised...try also to raise more dogs,you will notice it is ten times more noisy than just raising a couple of dogs...and the dog food is there enough for them?
Take a look to the fruits of the trees,the more they had,the more their fruits are not all perfectly in good shape,good taste or all beautiful enough.Try to apply it to mankind,the mother of little family lookslike she doesn´t bear a child but a mother of big family lookslike a lousy pig,an undernourish mother dogs or a dying mother rats. Brother tagamasid, it is the fault of the owner who made a small poultry that have no enough supply of water,food,clean environment and there is a very great relevance in our country. As long as the word "belief" is concern, there is no factual in it, and if the sources of knowledge is base in the bible, it is not true. There is a big difference in the meaning between "belief" and "I know". When someone say I believe, it simply mean he/she doesn't know or not sure, it is just hearsay. When someone declare I know, with certainty, he/she witnessed it. To elaborate further example, if someone have never been or seen Luneta Park and someone told and showed him/her a picture called Luneta Park, then it may believe that there is a place called Luneta. For someone who experienced being there in Luneta, he/she truly touched and really feel it. It's no longer a belief, it is real experienced. The conclusion is, for those who believed in God and proclaimed that he/she fear God is simply an ignorant. Loving God is knowing and experiencing that it is all pervading entity, the within and without, the wholeness of the manifest universe and un-manifest spirit and the embodiment of love. Ka silaw, i agree with you that God is a spirit. This spirit sent His only son Jesus thru an earthly vessel and that's mary for the salvation of the whole humanity by accepting Him as our personal savior.

Bringing the name of Jesus Christ to the fore is bringing Christianity religion with it. Do you mean, that, if I don't believe in Jesus Christ there is no salvation for for me? This is really a dogmatic view. What about the Hindus, Buddhist, Jews and Muslims no salvation for them? I don't think that you are sure of that statement. Wag nating pigilan ang natural flow ng information dahil lang sa hindi pa tayo banal. Ang mga nasa bibliya at ano pa mang religious book ay mga information din na dapat malaya nating masuri. At hayaan natin iproseso (process) yun sa ating mga utak at konsensiya. There is a saying in psychology that, "what you think, your mind becomes that". It is a tricky thing, what is this mean? Any ideas that come in the mind, it goes to your subconscious mind. As i have told you earlier,even if you are a jew doing meditations,devotions and so on but have not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior, they will still go to hell.
