In deference to a momentous event in our history, in behalf of my family and all Filipinos, I dedicate this blog solely to pay tribute to our Cory. She is indeed the moral president and leader of the Filipino people for all times.
Cory is no coincidence in our lives. A prayer written in an ancient language suggests that Cory was a promise from the ages. Allow me to share this text message from Vicente Chuidian: “These lines from an ancient prayer of a language spoken before Christ symbolizes Cory’s sacrifice: “I put on yellow garments and moved from home into homelessness.” “kasayani vathani acchadetva agarasma anagariyam pabbajim” The color yellow of Cory indeed takes on an even deeper meaning for us all… The Taoist philospher, Lao-tzu so aptly described Cory’s life and the lessons we ought to learn from her: “I have three treasures. Guard and keep them: The first is deep love, The second is frugality, And the third is not to dare to be ahead of the world. Because of deep love, one is courageous. Because of frugality, one is generous. Because of not daring to be ahead of the world, one becomes the leader of the world.” -- Lao-tzu, The Way of Lao-tzu As we mourn and celebrate the Gift of Cory, let us pray that each of us finds these treasures that Cory showed us in her lifetime. the late president cory aquino certainly deserves all the accolades heap on her. she is really a far cry from the thieving and deceitful gloria. but after all is said and done, cory is still a human subject to such mortal frailties. some of her most famous - or rather imfamous- boo boos are : her aversion to unsolicited advises; the exemption of hacienda luisita to the mandates of carp; the day long brown-outs due to the abolition of the ministry of energy; and the strangest of all is her uncalled for support to the scandalously corrupt former comelec chairman benjamin _burjer abalos of the zte-nbn notoriety.
as i've said pres. cory is but human, but for me she is stil the best president we ever have as even in her mistakes, i know that she is not motivated by malice. salamat and godspeed, president cory. si GRINGO HONASAN kailan kaya siya mamatay.

COry had her share of graft and corrupt practices during her term.. The exclusion of hacienda luisita from the CARP law (which she herself as president signed into law) The injustice to the victims of the hacienda luisita massacre after the farmers tried to protest and express their sentiment.. It just to happened that CORY succeeded after a very evil marcos no wonder we portray her as a saint but to think of it.. she is no better than arroyo too. Ano na naman itong media frenzy kay Cory... ito ang mga listahan ng mga stupid suggestions ng mga bloggers at mismong mga politiko...
1. Gawing santo si cory 2. EDSA gawing Cory aquino avenue 3. P500 bill ilagay picture ni cory 4. Willie revillame dapat parusahan 5. Magpatayo ng Cory religion at sambahin si cory bilang diyos at si kris aquino bilang anak ng diyosa sa dinadami-daming problema ng bayan at ito pa ang pagka-abalahan natin??? Paano na si hayden kho at katrina halili?? How about gawin nalang nating "Republic of Cory Aquino" ang pangalan ng bansa natin??? ano say nyu? di ba para masaya lahat? Ikaw siguro yung tipong sumasamba kay cory.. tanungin mo mismong mga taga hacienda luisita ni cory kung anong klaseng landlord sya doon... sa TV lang kasi natin sya nakikita kaya tuloy akala mo na napakabait na sya na tao pero ang totoong kabutihan ng tao ay makikita kung papaano sya sa mga kapitbahay nya at mismong mga trabahador nya sa hacienda. Ano? Gusto nilang e-crucify si willie dahil lang sa tactless remarks nya eh wala naman talagang masamang intensyun si willie doon.
Ni hindi nga natin maparusahan si IMELDA MARCOS sa mga katiwalian nya nuong MArtial Law... haayy.. anong klaseng bansa ba ito... Ni hindi nga natin naparusahan si arroyo nung "hello, garci" scandal eh obvious naman talaga na sya yun kahit mismong bata ay alam na si arroyo yun.. Ni hindi nga natin maparusahan mga drug lords... wala na ba ibang pwedeng magawa mga tao sa pilipinas at si willie naman ang nakita... Paano na ba si hayden kho at belo? I just trying to awaken us pinoys sa totoong nangyayari sa bayan natin... Hindi ba yan din ang ginawa ni rizal nung nagsulat sya ng noli me tangere at el filibusterismo.. Hindi ba kaya sinulat nya na ginahasa ang ina ni mara clara at mismong si mara clara ay ginahasa din sa kwento upang magalit at himukin ang mga pinoy sa mga katiwalian ng mga dayuhan... ang bobo mo kasi,... read between the lines pare... At tsaka yung sinasabi mong "let's look at life positively" yan din ay equivalent ng "bahala na" attitude... na mismong nagpabagsak ng bayan natin.. Alam na nangungurakot ng governor, bahala na... alam na may pulis brutality, bahala na... may patayan dun sa kanto, bahala na... basta hindi lang kamag-anak ang napatay, bahala na sila..." Celebrate what Cory truly represents

Napakarami nya pong problema magpa hanggang ngayon na hindi po nabigyan ng katarungan ng rehimeng Aquino. Hindi ba nya naitanong sa sarili nya kung bakit hindi rin nabigyan ni Gng Aquino ng katarungan ang pagkamatay ng mahal nya sa buhay na ang naghirap ay mga sundalo lamang. Gusto ba niya na pagkaupong pagkaupo ay pugutan ni Gng Aquino si Marcos ng ulo nito para sa madaling kamatayan at paghihiganti? At gaano ba dapat ang yaman na ibahagi nang pamilya Aquino sa mga magsasaka ng Hacienda Luisita kung ang pagbabatayan ay ang lagay at panuntunan ng ating ekonomiya? Nais nya bang lisanin na lang ng pamilya ang Hacienda at igaya sa Venezuela na ipamahagi sa mga simpleng tao na hindi aral kung paano pagyamanin ang malawak na lupain. Hindi mo ba alam Mr Hizon na hindi simpleng pagtatanim lang ang usapin sa pagsasaka, pag aani, pamanahagi at pagpapakain sa mamamayan. Ito po ay ginagamitan ng pag aaral Agham, Matematika at iba pa. Ang pagkamatay ng mga magsasaka sa Mendiola, nararapat ba na ipagutos kaagad ni Gng Aquino na hatulan agad ng kamatayan ang mga gumawa nito na hindi na dadaanin sa alituntunin at imbestigasyon kung ano talaga ang nangyari? Ang pagkamatay ni Lean Alejandro, ano bang dapat ginawa nya na hindi nya pa nga lubos na nakamit ang hustisya sa pagkamatay ng asawa nya. Dapat bang nag asal Marcos din sya upang ang resulta ay mabilis at "shortcut". At ang kultura na gusto nyang bigyan walang kahulugan kung bakit maraming nakiramay sa pagkamatay ni Gng Aquino ay isang kalaspatanganan at walang basehan kung hindi damdamin ng kulturang puro batikos ngunit walang maihayag na solusyon. Sana Ginoong Colayco ay makarating ang liham ko na ito kay Ginoong Hizon. ANO BA YAN SABISABI NA GAWING SANTO SI CORY!!! ANO BA YAN!!!! A tribute to Cory is befitting and proper to a president who hold the helm of our country during its most trying and troubled time.She withstood coups and destabilzation.She offered unity and steadfastness in time of uncertainty and hopelessness.I salute her for that.Although she had some lapses in judgement(she was a novice)but all done without malice or maybe without self-serving gain.Nevertheless she deserve well the accolade and respect.She may rest and peace.God may bless and comfort her grieving family .
That is how we are as a nation, we give full support to the people whom we felt as genuine but feels indifference to those pretentious ones. My deepest appreciation to Pres. Cory Aquino for in her death, people from all walks of life was inspired by her example. As what Mother Theresa quoted that live your life in a way that as you were born, you cry and the whole world was happy and smiling and in the hour of your death, the world cries while you are smiling. The best thing is just to do our part to make our country a better place to live.
To Willie, learn all the lessons in life and be kind though next time with your words because Filipino people values much RESPECT FOR OTHERS. Willie should have consulted with the network's management and not solely rely on his own judgment because that's also an act of arrogance. Is it because he is the main host of the show means that he has all the right to do? A humble person does not consider only himself but for the common good. It does not also mean that though your show is popular, you could do all means that you wanted. Successful people always put their feet on the ground and not deceived by power and popularity. Learn to distinguish humility from popularity...
I hope Willie gets banned ... he has show burst of disrespectfullness and sometimes or more than times at his show WOWWOWWEE how he disrespectful he is. I know he's BIG time there in the Philippines making a lot of money by that show and endorsement.
Even I can't stand his show ... Over here in the US they broadcast his show TWICE a day. I say he should be punish for what he did and for him to be more humble ... or his beloved WOWWOWWEE will take a turn! Joey de Leon stabs Revillame with a poem that he wrote, which debuted on August 9, 2009 at the Philippine Star, with obvious intend to hit on the ABS CBN entertainment host.

Maganda kasi sana ang kalayaan na may kaakibat ng responsibilidad. Who will guard the guards, sabi nga ni Dan Brown. Sino ang magbabalita ng kamalian ng Media? Sino? Malaki ang nagawang pagkakamali ni Cory sa pinas. Hindi dapat xia bigyan ng pagtratong mas angat sa karaniwang presidente. She's just like the others.

Malaki nga ang naging papel ni Tita Cory ng panahon ni Marcos..
Noong unang makamit natin ang laya sa matagal na pagiging pangulo ni Marcos ang unang naramdaman ng taong bayan ay KALAYAAN.. Ang nangyari ay napaka ganda "SANA" simbolo ng pagkakaisa at tungo sa kaunlaran.. Nagampanan ni Tita Cory ang dapat para sa bayan na pinatalsik si Marcos at hindi niya kagustuhan ang mga sumunod na pangyayari..at lalaong hindi niya ito inasahan.. At eto na tayo ngayon..BALIK SA DATING GAWI.. Hindi ako kumporme na bigyan ng masyadong atensiyon si Tita Cory..si Ninoy ok..sa mga may nais na bigyan ng sobrang atensiyon si Tita Cory ay ang mga tao at pulitikang nakinabang lang sa kanya..hindi nila inaalintana kahit noong may sakit siya..at maging sa kanyang kamatayan at hangang sa huling hantungan ay ginagamit parin siya..Nangungunang magpupugay at naki nabang lang ang mga MEDIA.. I love Tita Cory Papaano ko makakalimutan ang "MEETING DE ABANSE".. Saksi entablado na apat ang poste,hagdanang kahoy at tablang sahig sa gitna ng Risal grand stand.. I don't believe cory's action, she is just a product of luck or timing.
