Evangelist Bro. Eddie Villanueva of the Jesus is Lord (JIL) movement has no plans of dropping his renewed quest for the presidency to support Senator Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III.
In a statement released Thursday, Villanueva said he would stay in the presidential race as Bangon Pilipinas’ standard bearer.
“Bangon Pilipinas respects the decision of Senator Mar Roxas to give way to his fellow Liberal to take on the torch of the party’s leadership for the 2010 elections. But the Liberal Party’s move does not influence Bangon Pilipinas’ own plans,” he said.
Villanueva ran and lost during the 2004 presidential polls, placing fifth and last in the race.
Roxas on Tuesday announced that he is abandoning his presidential bid in the 2010 national elections to support Aquino.
Aquino, however, has yet to make a categorical statement on his political plans for 2010, saying Wednesday that he will embark on a spiritual retreat over the weekend to finalize his decision.
Villanueva said the change in the political landscape brought about by Aquino’s expected entry into the presidential race made his party “more challenged” to push for a platform “grounded on genuine love for God and country.”
“All parties offering a platform most responsive to the pressing needs of the country should be able to go through the electoral process by presenting such platform to the Filipino people, participating in debates on issues, going to the campaign trail, and ultimately, allowing the people to choose the best candidate based on the dictates of their conscience. This is the reason why we cannot and should not withdraw from the race,” he said.
Following Roxas’ announcement, priest-turned-Pampanga Governor Eddie Panlilio said he is willing to drop his own presidential bid for Aquino pending consultations with his supporters.
Lito Anzures, spokesman of Makati City Mayor and United Opposition president Jejomar Binay, said the mayor might also forgo his possible bid for the presidency to rally the opposition around Aquino.
Earlier, opposition senator Panfilo Lacson said former President Joseph Estrada–who said he is 99.9 percent certain of seeking the presidency again–should back out of the presidential race to unify the opposition. Lacson also said he is willing to express support for Aquino’s possible presidential bid. – GMANews.TV

Our country is very much deep rooted with darkness and we need Brother Eddie Villanueva who is a man of GOD who can dismantle the spiritual deception of the king of darkness who is satan, the god of this world.
Noynoy is very near to God and i love the aquino family specially ninoy who brought back democracy in our country.

Let us leave politics to politicians. let us not be confused by mixing religion with politics. A man of God is suppose to be our spiritual light, our guide. If I have to put it, they should stay away from the “pit of darkness” and get people going on, moving on to the Light. But if they throw themselves to the pit or traps of Satan, how could they help people? We need guidance, and that is where we need religious leaders.

Noynoy doesn’t even know what sacrifice means because he was and is pampered to death by the Aquino sisters. How can he dismantle the mafia of smugglers and corruption in our country if he is not tough enough? Look at the people behind him, people belong to the oligarchy clans including Mar Roxas. He is not Ninoy Aquino to begin with. Noynoy is ‘malamya’ weak with decisions. Another thing is that, even Cory Aquino wasn’t able to fully implement the CARP during her term because of the Hacienda Luisita. Noynoy will just protect their interest to begin with that’s why he found it hard to win convincingly on his first try to congress because Tarlaquenos knew, that Aquinos have vested interest to protect.
Only Eddie Villanueva among the presidentiables have the moral ascendancy to govern. He is not beholden to any politicians, businessmen, etc.

I voted for Bro. Eddie before in his first try to the presidency. I used my own resources to campaign for him to the best I could. I went to different barangays in my own volition to convince people to vote for him. Medyo gumastos din ako. Pero sa ngayon the political landscape has changed and we need to have a reality check na hindi lang good intention ang kelangan kundi dapat din ay may political machinery to win. From the list of people aspiring for the presidency, I am convinced that we should rally to support NOYNOY AQUINO if we really want change in this country. He is the only viable candidate that can unite the forces who desire for social reform and justice. I will actively campaign for NOYNOY! Bagong Pilipinas!

The answer is not with those leader it is within us who should start from our very own house. make your house a HOME and youll find out that you contribute a lot to your barangay, municipality, city and in your country. If brother eddie is a true leader he will not let his member (JIL)to be lead astray. What do i mean is if brother eddie will not drop his candidacy the vote of the filipino will be divided like what happen last election in which it became favorable to the present corrupt arroyo’s gov’t. i hope this won’t happen again only if brother eddie will give way to noynoy. Just do the same way senator loren legarda do, that if you really want to help the filipino, you can by using your campaign fund in a livelihood program. ‘King of a New Philippines’? I am not trying to pick a fight but it just sounded so ‘creepy-cult-like’.
The last time Mr. Villanueva ran for the top post, evrytime somebody approaches me to vote for him, that certain somebody is a member of his sect. I am not saying that JIL members where tasked to campaign for him…of course you have to patronize your own. It just felt like people who would route for him are those who believe in his religious teachings and not primarily at his capability to lead as president. The country is already divided by ideologies and for a religious leader becoming president would probably make it worse.
I am not against Mr. Villanueva or the JIL. I believe that he is an honest and God-fearing man. A few qualities that we look for a president. But is it enough that the next president is God-fearing? honest? Is he capable of running the country for 6 years should he win the election? Politics is the devil’s playground and no matter who plays it, a religious leader, a holy man or even a saint, the game would always be dirty.

In reality, all Christians should be evangelical Christians. The Bible is consistently instructing us to be witnesses of the good news (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 16:1-4; 1 Peter 3:15). There is no better news than Jesus! There is no higher calling than evangelist. There is no doubt that holding to the fundamentals of the Bible will result in a certain worldview, and yes, political belief. However, there is nothing about being an evangelical that demands a certain political party or affiliation. An evangelical Christian is called to share the good news, to preach God’s Word, and to set an example of purity and integrity. If these callings require political action, so be it. At the same time, evangelical Christians should not be sidetracked into abandoning our highest calling—sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We cannot serve two masters at the same time. The Lord commands us to worship him only and no other God after him. One has to decide which master he shall support. We cannot mix water and oil in one container because the oil will always stay on top of the water.
It is the fact and traditional in our country that candidates owes from supporters and he will give it back to them when he won, but it is most great to owe votes from the will of the people who believe that no amount of money is required to win because the voice of the people is the voice of God.
If we want to know the character of the candidates, let’s us know his supporters and we will know who he is.
Good governance is the will of God, but corruption is the devil tool of wicked leaders to govern. If we love our country, let us learn from our history, scrutiny our candidates backgrounds and stand still to protect our future and our children’s future.

stop all these discussion on who will save this country from our worst nightmare, the government leadership has also always been practiced as an oligarchy not democratic, all these wealthy families dominated the political scene, political dynasties is rampant, leadership succession always transfered to their next of kins, from grandfather to father, from father or mother to children, from brother to sister or both.
Everybody is claiming to be the saviour, why don’t me review the accomplishments of each candidates in his own field and see what benefit or future he will do to his country. Is he involved himself in corruption,
or immoral acts, plaunder, does he commits any small crime, can he follow simple tax obligations, is he gaining wealth in anomalous way or just keeping in silence and just waiting election to resurface and tell the people he is the one. If he is pursuing for the election battle for the
second time, did the result of his first fight didnot convince him not to try again or just simply shut up because of the people spoke that he was fit to be the next president. Time was up, don’t be another Lacson, my brother. this is just a reminder, because this time no miracle could ever save the filipino people from this worst nightmare but prosecute this corruptors and have their loots returned to the treasure of the filipino people.

_____6. He is educated in economics (PUP and UP) and political law (UP) and even the Scriptures. He is also an educator. Disenchanted from Marxism while he taught economics, he became a preacher of righteousness.
_____7. He has led up to 7 Million laity for 25 years. It shows he is a good manager, administrator, and leader. He has managed Zoe 11 TV despite the selective advertisements. Not only that, he also established the JIL Colleges.
_____8. He lives a simple life. For for 25 years it would have been tempting to take advantage financially but his life open to everyone shows no hint of financial gain.
_____9. He has no excess political baggage. In this campaign alone he owed no religious leader nor political leaders his candidacy, he owes it to the people who volunteers to support him expecting nothing in return. Muslims as led by a Sultan from Mindanao supports him because the Sultan said, only Villanueva did not approach him to offer him anything. This is also the turning point for Winnie Monsod to throw her support for him.
_____10. He is represents new politics. A politics of change. Of national moral renewal. In this campaign alone, his supporters bought his campaign gadgets. In many of his forums, the people who supports him or those who want to listen pay for the food and venue expecting nothing in return.
_____11. His health cannot be doubted. In this campaign alone, he travelled by land, sea and air all over the country. He is physically fit for the presidency.

Mahal kong kababayan, ang election ay labanan ng boto, paramihan ng botong mabibilang pagkatapos ng halalan. Wag na kayong mangarap na manalo kung maki-Eddie kayo. dahil ang politika sa bansa ay labanan ay paramihan ng boboto at hindi ng prinsipyo, ng idealismo, ng Salita ng Diyos o ng galing sa Bibilya, o mabubuting character ng tao. Sa mga nagsubok na religious individual, si ex-priest now Gov. Panlilio lang ang nanalo pero sa provincial level lang kasi sawa na ang cabalen nya na matawag ang Pampanga na gambling capital ng Pilipinas and lahar tax receipt cheating province.

Wag na kayo mangarap pa na mananalo c broder Eddie, Iba-iba ang agenda ng bawat tao, kahit anupa gawin nyong magic, aritmetik at milagrong inaabangan. Kulang pa rin kayo sa bilang. Kahit anong positibo o negatibo pa ang pag-iisip ng isang tao, d nyo kayang diktahan ang kanyang desisyon sa buhay. Dahil sa inyo mismo ay hindi rin 100% na boboto sa kanya. Born-again Christian din ako. Pero di ako naniniwala na si Bro. Eddie Villanueva ang kasagutan para bumangon ang Pilipinas sa lusak na kinasasadlakan nito. Ang pagbangon ng Pilipinas ay di nakasalalay sa isang tao lamang, ito ay pagbabago ng puso ng mga Pilipino, paniniwala sa Diyos at sa kakayanan ng mga Pilipino. Ano ba sabi sa Book of Chronicles, sabi dun “If my people will humble themselves and pray…”
Nung 2004 elections, I voted for Eddie Villanueva kasi nung time na yun si Bro. Eddie ang binibigay na impression sa akin ng Panginoon pero anong nangyari kay Bro. Eddie, wala siyang pinag-iba sa mga natalong kandidato, isa din siya sa nagsabing dinaya siya. How much more pa kapag nasa kapangyarihan na siya, masisira lang siya. Does he or the JIL people still pray for Arroyo now? How I wish they are. Because kahit gaano pa kasama ang administrasyon na ito ni Arroyo, katuruan sa Bible na ipanalangin ang mga hari hindi dapat sirain. Sa mga programa nila sa Q at GMA? Wala ka nang maririnig kundi negatibo laban sa administrasyon.
So please lang. Wala sa leader ang ikakabuti ng bansa na sa Diyos at sa mga tao ng bansa na magkakaroon ng tunay na pagmamahal sa bansa. After all, tao pa din si Bro. Eddie, malaki ang chances na masilaw din siya sa kapangyarihan.

Noong 1998 elections, buti na lang di ako na brainwash na iboto si De Venecia bilang pangulo. Anong nangyari hiniya ng Panginoon ang JIL at mga sa likod na ito sa isang pulong “espirituwal” sa Luneta “Jesus Declaring of Victory” na pumapabor kay JDV bilang “the annointed one” daw. Hahahaha!!!
Isang patunay lang na nakikisawsaw na ang JIL (please lang hindi lahat ng mga born-again Christians, ha!!!) sa political scene sa bansa. Hindi natin role ang makisawsaw sa pulitika. Ang role natin is to pray and support the administration. It’s a huge crap saying na “kasi kurap ang nakaupo”, why not pray for them rather than batikusin sa isang programa. Sabi nga ano pa magiging difference ng mga Christians kung ang ginagawa ng mga non-believer sa pangbabatikos at pagiging negatibo at siya ding ginagawa ntin mga anak ng Diyos.

Someone asked here for unity of Christian (Born-again) community. How can you expect “unity” if kung ang JIL mismo di nila alam ang concept ng unity. Ang unity na alam nila ay ung body of Christ na sila ang dapat nasa frontline kasi sila ang mega-church. Im from Bulacan, a member of the Bulacan Christian Youth before. They never joined this province-wide youth group initiative because they didn’t spearheaded this project but instead they formed “KKB” a separate group consisting of their youth ministry throughout the country.
Ito namang nasa taas ko. Inaakusahan na agad ni inaalipusta daw c bro eddie nya. Ang pagkakaroon ba ng bukas na kaisipan sa pulitika ay nangangahulugan na kumakalaban na sinasabi ninyon “kalooban” ng Diyos. I’m not against Bro. Ugali nating mga Pilipino ang di mapagtanim ng sama ng loob, madaling makalimot. Maaring positibo sa isang banda, pero meron ding negatibong bahagi, depende sa pinatutungkulan. Maging sa senado pag may mabibigat na isyu na sangkot lalo na ang mga tao sa gobyerno, papatungan lang bagong isyu kahit na napakabi-bigat ng ebidensya, pipiliting takpan, makakalimutan na ng mga Pilipino. Yang mga “helo garci tape na yan, hacienda luisita masacre, at kung ano-ano pa. Ngayong darating na eleksyon, may boses po tayo, may karapatang iboto ang gugustuhin nating kandidato at may kakayahang magtayo ng karapat-dapat ng pangulo.
Di tama na ipaubaya natin ang ating bansa sa mga kurakot na tao ng gobyerno, gagastos ng malaki sa halalan, sabagay sa kaban ng bayan din naman nila kinuha yun o sabihin na natin bahagi ng kanilang kayamanan, tapos babawiin din kapag nakapwesto na. Kawawa po ang ating bayan, paikot-ikot na lang tayo, kawawa ang ating mga anak at mga susunod na generation.
Di po question dito ang paghihiwalay ng simbahan at gobyerno, naipaliwanag na po iyan. I’m not a JIL member, pero suportado namin si Bro. Pede din natin sabihin na nagbabayad din ng buwis si Billy bilyonaryo kasi yung pinapadala nyang pera sa mga mahal nya sa buhay ay pinambibili din dyan sa bansa natin. Kya dahil dyan nagbabayad din sya ng buwis tulad halimbawa pag nag JOLIBEE ang mga mahal nya sa buhay o nanood ng sine galing sa remittance nya ay nagbabayad sila ng EVAT at ang EVAT ay napupunta sa kabang yaman ng ating pamahalaan para gamitin sa ating mga programa at busugin ang mga kongresista sa kanilang pork barrel. Recs and Alumni take it easy! Pareho kayong pilipino magkaiba lang ng prinsipyo at di nyo kailangan mag-away at magmamahal ulit ang tinapay sa ating bansa. Alam mo Alumni ako ay di relihiyosong tao. Pero may paniniwala naman ako sa Dios maski paano. Pero ang lahat ng batas ay nagmula sa Dios. Ang bibliya ay pamantayan ng mga Kristian at Hudyo sa kanilang matuwid na pamumuhay tulad ng Koran sa ating mga kapatid na muslim. Ang itinuturo ng bibliya at koran ay pawang kabutihan at patungkol sa pag-ibig ng Dios sa tao at kung paano tutugon ang tao sa pag-ibig ng dios. Nais ng Dios na mamuhay tayo ng mapayapa at masagana lahat ng ito ay makabubuti sa ating lahat. Wala dapat tayong pag-awayan..ano man ang lahi, kulay at relihiyon mo subalit dahil ang puso ng tao at isipan ay punong-puno at kubkob ng kasamaan at kasakiman kailangan ang BATAS para malaman ng tao ang dapat at hindi dapat gawin tulad sa isang simpleng pagtawid sa tamang tawiran may batas tayo dyan sa pilipinas pero marami pa din ang lumalabag. Ngayon….para magkaroon ng tamang batas ang mga mambabatas ang syang babalangkas nito.
Ang mambabatas natin ay binubuo ng ibat-ibang representante sa kamara. PInagiisipan, binabalangkas ng mabuti ang bwat batas na kailangan ipasa at di ipasa. NGAYON ang tanong, ano ang batayan ng bawat mambabatas sa kanilang pagpapasya sa pagpasa ng isang batas? Bigyan kita ng halimbawa. mayroong 5- limang mambabatas sa kamara 4 dyan ay sakim, kubkob ng kasamaan ang kalooban at iisa ang may mabuting kalooban. Ngayon, ang apat ay nagkakasundo sa pagpasa ng batas ayon sa kanilang kapakinabangan bagamat tutol ang isa na mabuti ang kalooban dahil ang pamantayan nya sa kanyang pamumuhay ay bibliya o koran na kabutihan at pag-ibig ng diyos sa tao. Subalit wlang magagawa ang iisang tao na nasa kamara laban sa apat sapagkat ang nakararami pa din ang mamamayani. Ngayon,… dito mo mabibigyan ng relasyon ang bibliya sa batas. Nagmula ang batas sa Dios sa pamamagitan ng 10 Commandments dahil ang mga tao ng Dios noon ay namuhay ng wlang batas kaya naging masama at tampalalo sila sa Dios. Iba ang isyu ng separation ng church at state. tatalakayin natin yan kung gusto mo sa susunod na panahon. Kaya sa maniwala ka o sa hindi kailangan natin ng matuwid dito sa ating pamahalaan at di nating kailangan ibigay ang kapangyarihan at pamamahal ng ating bansa sa mga asot baboy. Para bang tulad ng maling prinsipyo ng nakararami. “Wag tayong makisawsaw sa dumi ng pulitika sa ating bansa.” APEKTADO KA, AKO AT MGA SUSUNOD NA SALING LAHI ng ating bansa. Wlang dapat sisihin kung bakit bulok at mahinang klase ang mga namumuno sa ating bansa (di naman lahat), ,kung di ang nakararami na bumuto sa mga bulok at sakim na pulitiko. Kaya kailangan ibalik natin ang tutoong pamahalaan, pamamahala at tamang panunungkulan sa ating bansa. Balik tayo sa BASIC. Dito sa gulpo kitang-kita mo ang sipag, talino, tyaga at angat ang pinoy pero nanatili pa din tayong mahirap na bansa. Kailangan natin pagkakaisa sa kabutihan ng ating bansa at nakararami. yon lang po.

Pero wala akong iniendorso sa kanila. Pag-aralan nyo pa rin silang lahat kasama sina Gibo, Villar, Bayani, Erap, Ebdane at Noynoy. At the end nasa atin pa din ang kapangyarihan magluklok ng tamang pinuno lalot pag nagkaisa tayo regardless kung sino ang manok natin basta sa ikabubuti ng ating bayan. Ipanalangin na lamang nating lahat na ang mananalong Presidente ay ang karapatdapat na maging pangulo. Hindi man tayo magkakaisa sa magiging resulta ng election pero matuto tayo ngayon pa lang na maging maginoo sa magiging resulta lalo na kung matatalo din naman pagkatapos ng halalan. Kagaya nung mga tumakbo na dati pero natalo huwag na humirit pa, kaya ka nga natalo kc ayaw ka iboto ng tao tapos uulit ka naman. ang kapal naman, gusto nyo pa sya maging Lacson, maging two time loser!!!
Paramihan ng boto ang labanan sa halalan hindi nyo naman kailangan gamitin ang pangalan ng Diyos, santo, o sino pang propeta para sabihing banal kayo, malinis ang pagkatao, puro bibliya hawak nyo para sabihin sa tao na kayo ang pinakabanal sa lahat ng mga kumandidato. Kc kung talagang mananalo ka, sa malinis man o maruming paraan, mananalo ka. Saka, wala ng propeta ngayon lahat ay ordinaryong tao na lang na nagpapanggap lang na maka-diyos, makatao at makabayan. Wag na tayo mangarap ng makalangit na panunungkulan, sa langit lang natin yun mararamdam pag kasama na natin ang totoong Diyos, mga totoong santo, mga propeta at mga anghel.
Hindi pa kaya ng mga supporter ni Bro. Eddie ipanalo siya, Kung ang INC nga na mas marami pa ang mga kapatid, o kaya ang bros and sis ni Bro. Mike velarde hindi sila nag-sulong ng kakandidatong Pangulo. War of the religions ang magiging resulta pag nanalo si Bro. Eddie. Hindi papayag ang mga mas maraming followers ng INC, El Shaddai at iba pang religious group na sila ang nasa ilalim lang ng pamumuno ng mga JIL. NO WAY!!!

Ang mga taong ganito tulad ni Incoming President Eddie Villanueva ay isang patotoo na habang may hininga ang tao na ibinibigay ng Diyos ni Abraham, Isaac at Israel(Jacob) ay patuloy na makibaka sa larangan ng politika para sa kapakanan ng bayang Pilipinas.
Maraming politiko rin dito sa amerika na ganuon din ang kaso, natalo sila hindi lang dalawang beses kundi limang beses at mahigit pa, pero itinuloy nila ang laban sa larangan ng politika para sa welfare ng tao, ayun at nagtagumpay sila.

May point si Ka Andres Bukid Billy! Marami man gusto ng matuwid ng pamahalaan subalit ang kanilang mga nasa isip ay ang imahen ni Bro. Eddie na isang Ebanghelista na nag aasam na maging presidente para baguhin ang kanyang bansang mahal. Kailangan ay makumbinsi ng inyong samahan na ang inyong isinusulong na presidente ay hindi magiging biased sa ibang relihiyon. Normal lang sa average na pag-iisip ng komon na tao sa ating bansa na ganyan ang iisipin. Lalot relihiyon na ang pinag-uusapan. Sang-ayon din ako sa sinabi mo tungkol sa Amerika. Subalit mga amerikano sila tayo pilipino. Likas pa rin sa mga pilipino ang nangingibabaw na pag-uugali na walang tiwala sa sarili at kapwa pilipino, mapanirang puri, mapag-imbot, at madaling maloko. Kaya hanggang ngayon kulelat pa din tayo Billy at nakikipagunahan sa Bangladesh. Ang mga magagaling at progresibong pag-iisip sa ating bansa ay nawalan na ng pag-asa. Nagsipagalisan na ng bansa kasi ang pulitika sa atin ay isang circus lang. Kung sino ang may pera sila ang magpapatakbo ng gobyerno. Kailangan pa din maieducate ang mga pilipino otherwise kakailanganin natin ng sapat na panahon para matuto ang mga pilipino. Ang mga pilipino kasi ay sigurista. Di nila iboboto ang di liyamado. Pero hanga ako sa inyo at kay Bro. Eddie. kayo ay larawan ng bagong pilipino na gustong baguhin ang landas ng ating bansa. Kaya pinag-aaralan ko pa ang Bro. Eddie mo. OFWsaGULPO, hindi ako kasapi at kasama ng JIL pero ang Church ko dito sa Amerika ay Bible Base Church din na tumutulong sa maraming Missions sa buong mundo at naintindihan ko ang ipinaglalaban at pagmamahal ni Incoming President Eddie Villanueva sa ating mahal na Pilipinas.
Tapos na ang role ni Incoming President Eddie Villanueva sa pagkaEvangelista at matagumpay siya sa Salvation ng milyong-milyong Pilipino at marami na rin ang sumunod sa yapak niya para maging Evangelista para ipagpatuloy ang Salvation of more souls sa ating bansa at mga OFW sa buong mundo.

Alam mo randy iyan ang kagandahan sa ginawa ng Dios sabi ng teacher ko nuong ako ay nasa seminaryo pa. We can enjoy our differences na ginawa ng Dios kasama na dyan ang ibat-ibang pananaw. Tulad halimbawa ng hugis ng mukha ng tao at itsura. We can appreciate beauty kung di natin makikita ang pangit. May ibat-ibang kulay din ang tao ayon sa kanyang lahi. Iyan ay disenyo ng Dios. Kung sa langit nga may kontra bulate sa persona ni Lucifer na naging Satan. Ganyan ang Dios di nya ginawang robot ang kanyang nilalang. Kaya pagdating sa isinusulong nyong presidente na si Bro. Eddie, syempre gusto ng lahat ng pilipino ng magandang pamahalaan subalit may mga lumalabong sa kanilang mga mata kung bakit di nila tanggap si Villanueva at iyan ang Challenge sa inyo. Maganda ang nangyari sa presidential forum na ginanap sa GMA network iyon ay isang breakthrough sa kasaysayan ng pre-election sa atin. It is impossible to rule a nation without God and the Bible. Once you shun God out of the Philippines, we are in deep trouble.
Even societies who claim to be Atheists or Agnostics, cannot deny the fact that their justice system is even based on the Bible. Societies that consider killing as a crime, covetousness of one’s property as stealing, etc. cannot deny the fact that these tenets are Biblical.
Therefore, if there is anyone who should be leading our nation, it should be someone who will direct us according to Biblical principles. I don’t understand people who would say, do not mix church and the state. I repeat, it is impossible to rule a nation without God and the Bible.
One of the theories of the Origin of State is Theocracy–meaning the state is a creation of God, ruled by Him through the Patriarchs. israel had been ruled by a Patriarch for a long time, beginning with Abraham. Trouble started for them, when they demanded for a king, thus rejecting God to be their ruler.
I consider Bro Eddie as one of our modern day patriarch who is so connected to God. What balances Bro. Eddie’s qualifications is that, he is also a proven leader and manager. I am not JIL nor any of my family, but we (my whole congregation) will vote for him on May 2010 and will campaign for him.

I admit I campaigned for Ka Eddie when he ran for president because I thought he could make a difference. BUT, when I see my town where they reigned, I knew I was wrong. It’s hard to argue with people, BUT please if you want to project a nation’s state in his would-be government, go to Bocaue. It is sad to say that it is even worse than a town with an atheist leader. WHAT IS A BRO. EDDIE VOTE? … in favour of a New Season
I know that:
A vote for Bro. Eddie is a vote in favour of a new season.
One great man of God spoke in a prophetic conference a few months ago citing what the Holy Spirit told him few minutes before he went up stage to begin his message on “Seizing our Nation’s Prophetic Destiny.”
“Bilangin mo ilang taon na mula nang madiskubre kayo ni Magellan,” was the instruction in Tagalog he heard in a whisper. And bringing back to mind the date Magellan discovered the Philippines and the present year, he calculated the Philippines as nearly 490 years old in 2010, which marks the national election next year.
What is significant about 490? Or about seventy times seven? The Philippines’ history can be likened to that of Israel which captivity lasted 490 years before it was set free and born as independent nation in 1948.
Daniel, the Jew who was taken as captive in Babylon when he was a teenager, served in the palace and remained in government service through the reigns of Babylonian kings and into the reign of Cyrus of Persia after the Persians became the world’s superpower. He was a person of deep piety, who from his youth determined to live by God’s law in a foreign land.
Biblical records tell of Daniel turning first to God in prayer before turning to the affairs of state. And he understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. And so he turned to God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes, confessing his sin and that of his people, remembering their rebellion against Him and how He had fulfilled the words spoken against them and against their rulers by bringing upon them great disaster, making them a scorn to all those nations around them.
Daniel pleaded in prayer for God’s great mercy, for Him to look on them with favour for His name’s sake. Then came to him angel Gabriel and said, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the message and understand the vision: “Seventy ’sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.” (Daniel 9:22-24). Then in succeeding chapters were prophetic insights and vision he received, which were to come to pass in a distant future prior to the fulfilment of Israel’s end of captivity.
Is the same happening in the Philippines? Can a new Philippines arise after 490 gloomy years? Is the same period set for the finishing of transgression or sin of the forefathers, that of religious leaders, the rulers and the people, or that of the whole nation, so that the Philippines can rise and be built upon the foundation of righteousness, which exalts a nation? (Proverbs 14:31)
The Bible has the answer. Seasons govern every purpose, every behaviour and event on the earth. If it’s time, it must come. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”
Can a nation be born in a day? (Isaiah 66:8). Yes it can be.
But what must we do in 2010? There is no other but to seize the opportune time, the new season for the Philippines. This is the time we have all been waiting for: the rising of a new Philippines and a new Filipino!
And there is no doubt God has been dealing with the nation and cleansing it through judgment and then shall raise up a righteous leader to effectuate His glorious plans, the new beginning for the Philippines.
Prophet Daniel affirms, “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.” (Daniel 2:20-22). Psalm 75:7 also says, “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.”
This nation will reclaim its birthright as the only Christian nation in the Far East. As López de Villalobos in 1542 named the Philippine islands for the Spanish prince Philip, and as the great evangelist of the New Testament is named Philip, so shall the Philippines rise to its calling as the launching pad of the Gospel and a missionary-sending country in Asia and the world in the end-times, as prophesied by renowned Prophets Bill Hamon and Cindy Jacobs.
This land which was raped for its resources for so long will be restored towards great prosperity. Honest and impartial wealth creation and distribution will become a big possibility. The new Filipinos will now value the dignity of labour and show genuine love for work.
Shall we miss this chance? Remember that God determines the “kairos” or “this is the hour” of every nation.
Let us seize the moment. Bro. Eddie is not exactly the answer to the problems of the Philippines. But the God who wants to raise us up as a new nation is looking for a man He can use to do that. Look around and see among the candidates if there is one who is like him. If none, you know what to do in the coming election, a chance we all have in this generation, in such a time as this.

WHAT IS A BRO. EDDIE VOTE? … in favour of Righteousness
There may not be enough money in the world to buy enough airtime and advertising to counter the lies and deception that a vote for righteousness is not going to win even for second try. But this is not a reason to quit.
And since those other candidates possess overflowing logistics support and charisma in aid of winning the presidential race, it is not far from happening that some previous supporters of purpose-driven candidacy of Bangon Pilipinas standard bearer Bro. Eddie Villanueva may decide to throw away their confidence and rather jump or climb on the bandwagon, joining another camp only because it is popular. Moreover, those who opposed him last 2004 elections may be on the loose again to discredit him.
With this scenario, the battle is not just a replica of David and Goliath but David and Goliaths. There are so many giants to fight against if Bro. Eddie must finally win. The irony is that, harsh opposition also comes from separatist-brothers in the faith.
The resistance from outside of the flock is understandable, yet there might be a sudden change of mind and that is a big surprise. But this spirit of scorn and contempt coming from churches is saddening. And therefore requires attention.
Why should every genuine Christian and nation-loving Filipino vote and campaign for Bro. Eddie Villanueva? Here is one reason.
A vote for Bro. Eddie is a vote in favour of righteousness.
The Philippines, known as the only Christian nation in the far east of Asia, failed to live up to its name. The people go to church while the nation slowly goes down to its lowest moral state. Today, it is adjudged second most corrupt country in the world. What a negative reverse from being second to Japan in terms of economic prosperity in 1972! Onwards until now, the nation suffered spiral downturn and deterioration because of ingrained graft and corruption and insatiable greed for power, from the highest officials of the land down to the lowest. Its rotten fruits are so sticky they cleave to the branches no matter how strong the wind shakes the whole tree.
This pitiable condition caused millions of Filipinos – professionals, domestic helpers, caregivers and skilled workers alike – to seek jobs abroad – almost being ejected from own country as thousands leave each day. Scattered to different parts of the world, battling homesickness, these kababayans are working hard like slaves to be able to send money and help their families survive at least.
The country is in turmoil; left and right are protest rallies, injustices abound, killings and other horrible crimes became so ordinary, institutional thievery of highest kind is committed without guilt or shame, social unrest is felt in the entire land, poverty level is almost at the bottom, and the list goes on. Evidently, the Philippines is at the brim of corruption awaiting divine judgment because it closed its eyes to the rule of justice, mercy, and faith.
Why is righteousness needed in this sad plight? God’s Word gives profound answers. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2). “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)
This 2010 Election offers hope because it has one candidate among several who is not just an alternative, and neither a lesser evil. He fits the need. He courageously responds to the challenge of dark times in the Philippines. He has a clear grasp of what it means “to act justly… to love mercy… to walk humbly with … God.” (Micah 6:8)
Critics say he should not enter politics because he might be corrupted by the system. But that is too presumptive. Before anybody assumes he will be eaten up by the corrupt system, remember the work of salt or light that preserves and illuminates. This country needs to see the path towards light and be preserved from further judgment. We need a leader who will lead us there.
Civil servants or politicians are in the first place ought to be good citizens of their country, able to raise the moral standard of the people and their living conditions. But many of them presently holding office or aspiring to get into higher one have disappointed people’s hope. Come on, the Filipinos are like orphans badly in need of real guardians. Don’t take chances again just like what was done in the past. Filipinos now have a better candidate right before their very eyes.
And Christians, or those who believe it is a Christian act to genuinely care for the needy and oppressed, for the marginalized in the society, are faced with the decision to vote for and rally behind the cause of righteousness.
The church is still the most powerful transformation agent and that needs to be pointed out. It is never true that church and state are separate. If that were true, this country could have moved forward even long ago. Have you not known, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” (Psalm 33:12)? But the state had made money its god. THE PHILIPPINES THEN AND NOW
In the life of the Philippine nation, bad times often had outdone the good. The country’s history had shown it was bleak more often than not.
Its discovery in year 1521 by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan during Spanish expedition around the world is marked by the typical ulterior motive of any superpower nation, that is, to conquer nations and have complete control or monopoly of world trade.
And for 333 years that the early Filipinos were under the Spanish Empire, they were extremely abused and oppressed. Filipino farmers were forced to till the lands the Spaniards “claim” as their own, demanding them to produce huge returns. The women and children were taught to simply obey orders, without talking back or questioning wicked intents.
I do not know if slavery is indeed the price for having been Christianized. But thanks still to the Spanish people the Philippines had known there is Christ who came through virgin birth to die and rise again to save humanity from sin.
Until the Spanish tyranny gave birth to Philippine heroes largely impacted by Jose Rizal’s courageous writings and martyrdom, denouncing and battling against the power of the friars and desiring independence or self-government. Then the Spanish cruelty ended in 1898 when they lost the war against America.
That season also gave the Filipinos the chance to declare independence and establish a republic under the first democratic constitution ever known in Asia. Yet it was short-lived as their dream of independence was crushed when the Philippines was transferred from Spain to the United States in the Treaty of Paris (1898), which closed the Spanish-American War.
But the spirit coveting absolute freedom did not die at once. The first president of the aborted Republic of the Philippines, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, tried to retrieve it and led a new revolt against U. S. rule that cost many lives of Filipino guerrillas. It was a dismal failure.
And so the Philippines was under the American regime 48 years, resulting to economic ties between the two countries. Yet only a little American capital was invested in Philippine industries, while the U.S. trade grew immensely until the Philippines became almost entirely dependent upon the American market.
I do not know if economic exploitation is indeed the price for receiving rich heritage of education and being introduced to democratic system of government. But thanks still to the Americans the Filipinos advanced in literacy and learned the power of people’s vote. Hence slowly they moved towards achieving independence.
Until World War 2 broke out in 1941 and Japan ruled the Filipinos 3 years, with blatant cruelty. Then help came through Gen. Douglas McArthur in 1944 liberating the Philippines from the Japanese, leaving the land war-devastated, its economy shattered and political leaders severely challenged. Finally in 1946, Philippine independence was granted, giving birth to the legitimate Republic and first president Manuel Roxas.
I do not know if the massacre of or the blood that was shed by hundreds of thousands of Filipinos during WW 2 is indeed the price for getting the most coveted freedom of this nation. But thanks still to the Japanese for emphasizing the dignity of labour and love for work.
The Philippines since then had the rounds of elections in hope that the leaders installed from the Presidency, Vice Presidency, Senate and House of Representatives will be able to help the country move forward and provide a better life for every Filipino being born.
But what did we get? We already had 14 presidents since the time of President Emilio Aguinaldo and we are still here, dumped in grave and shocking poverty, with great disparity between the rich and the poor, our economy still bleeding in foreign debts, with never-ending political warfare and social violence, now suffering from tragic results of man-made calamities which the government and citizenry could not apparently solve, and lo! We can sense the very low national morale.
I do not know if the Philippines had really been born as a free nation after all those difficult times. For today, it still looks like a slave, not to the former colonizers but to the whims and caprices of the oligarchs both in business and politics. It is still exploited economically as it cannot get out of hands that quiver and never stop acquiring great wealth at the expense of the weak and the poor.
But there is one thing I do know. And that is why every genuine nation-loving Filipino should campaign and vote for Bro. Eddie Villanueva in the coming May 2010 elections.

i would like to add specific details to mr. gon mogaki’s views about bocaue. prostitution is prevalent in bocaue’s numerous dives because the town mayor, eduardo villanueva, jr. is a habitue of these establishments sometimes spending thousands of pesos treating basketball teams like the recent champions of the ncaa. nepotism is definitely the name of the game in our municipal hall because the municipal administrator is also a villanueva, thereby control of the town’s finances is never questioned. as to the town’s development, it is practically nil.

I supported Bro. Ed’s campaign last 2004 physically & financially it was a good & bad experience, the good is people listens & understand that we need change but the bad is people accepts the fact that they need money on election day to supply its need, this is the problem. My observation shows that no matter how good saleable ideas a candidate have it will not win if he will not have power & money inside comelec-game of politics..We need to take back the moral & God fearing values in each every heart of a filipino, stop pointing fingers, and this will start in you & me and lets help do our part in sharing the message of Godly life & be an example, the rest will depend on Gods grace to change a person. It is within ourselves that needs change not the main leader itself. Change is a sacrifice but changed people will change nation. Bro. Eddie needs to be in the church to continue the work God have called him to do and don’t be tired of doing so on these last days. Lastly our system needs to be change- remove the bulk money in the palace & give it to the provinces it belong, this is federal system. The national money is what every leader is upto, bro. Ed is not exempted on that. Money will change a person’s view it’s the root of all evil (1 Tim. 6:10) and we know those christians evangelist who fall on this trap. Change starts on you.

All I suggest is that matagal pa election at kelangan natin suriin ang lahat ng kandidato dahil sa kanila nakasalalay ang ating kinabukasan bago tayo pumili or kung meron na kayong bet, tingnan nyo muna kung karapatdapat ba sya.

1. Track records
2. Honesty, Sincerity and loyalty to all filipinos at sa kanyang sinumpaan
3. No history of wrongdoing
4. No hidden wealth
5. Corruption history
6. Educational background and credentials
7. Platform of government

I’m from Canada but a full blooded Filipino and still longing for Philippines to rise up as Nation like what our national Anthem declared “PEARL OF THE ORIENT” beloved countrymen let’s stop accusing any presidentiables, but let us come together in unity in prayer and petition that God will raise up a right LEADER for our country, no matter what religion,denomination or group you belong, please because this is the future of our country. I suppose not to care for Philippines anymore because gotta sick and tired of every bad news rising out in our country, plus i’m already here in Canada,just like what the guy from Australia said about their place, Canada is a very nice country too, every rules are well respected, weather on streets or in the bldg. Actually, I asked myself why I have so much against these people. Yeah, it’s because, I did believe in them once. One major issues on Villanueva’s candidacy is the issue of separation of church and state. I dont know waht seems to be difficult for our countryman to understand the substance of this provision. Let me cut and paste what the constitution says with this….
“The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines declares: The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable. (Article II, Section 6), and, No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed. No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights. (Article III, Section 5).” Malinaw pa sa sikat ng araw na ang provision na ito ay naglalayon na paigtingin ang religious freedom sa ating bansa, at iniiwasan ang magtatag ng isang common religion sa ating bansa. Natatakot siguro ang mga di nakakaintindi ng batas na ito na maging national religion ay Born Again. Mali po mga kababayan basahin nyo po ng plain na pagkakaunawa nyo at maiintindihan nyo ito. Ang mga likong pulitiko ang nagbigay ng maling definition ng provision na ito na ibinabato sa mga matutuwin na kandidato na tumakbo gaya ni Ka Emong ng pampanga. Panahon na para maging mapagmatyag at mapagsaliksik tayo. Mabuhay ang isang bagong Pilipinas.

I do not believe BRO. EDDIE VILLANUEVA will change the Philippines. Wag naman kayo magpadaya. If I may say so, he is just one of the many religious leaders who used religion to their own end. God can use anybody to change our nation, but for sure HE will use first HIS annointed one, before using others…It’s not about religion but it’s all about our relationship with GOD, we as Filipinos are known to be the only Christian Nation in the far east, but where are we now? Are we acting as “REAL CHRISTIAN”? It practically means that putting CHRIST in every point or aspect in our life, and this is the purpose why Bro. Eddie took a stand for his quest to change our nation, he was being annointed by GOD to change many people, of which it is a very ideal quality of becoming a leader of our nation, if u can change a single person, then u are wise indeed…As GOD have already promised us, the PHILIPPINES, to be a BLESSED NATION, A MISSIONARY SENDING NATION ALL OVER THE WORLD, and A SHEEP NATIO, who can hear the voice of the SHEPHERD and that is GOD…and remember this guys, whenever there is a moving from GOD to demonstrate HIS AWESOME POWER, satan, the enemy of GOD, will also make haste in confusing the people, so that GOD’s plans will be delayed…so be careful that you will not be partakers of the plans of the ENEMY of GOD, and be a partakers of the GOOD SHEPHERD and that is JESUS CHRIST…In this end times, many will be blinded by satan, so that GOD’s agenda will be delayed, but still at the end, we know that GOD will RULE and REIGN forevermore! Nasubukan na natin ang lahat ng uri na mga politician pero hindi tayo maka ahon sa kahirapan ng buhay, bakit hindi natin pagbigyan ang lingkod or alagad ng relihiyon para maituwid ang mga maling pamumuno sa pamahalaan at pamamalakad sa ating mga ahensya ng gobyerno? at masimulan ang tunay na makabuluhang pagbabago tungo sa malinis, matuwid at makaDios na bagong Pilipinas? Kailan man ay hindi talunan ang mga pumapanig sa katotohanan at makatwirang pamumuno.

I don’t think so that Bro. Eddie is a type of a person na gagamitin ang religion just for His own good.Dito talaga napapatunayan na napaka skeptic mag isip ng mga Pilipino.. look at us puro traditional leaders na lang nilalagay natin so WALANG PAGBABAGO? I’m not a JIL member but I saw His sincerity. Hindi naman pera o religion ang issue dito.Anyone is welcome sa JIL walang itinataas na religion. At kung sa tights & offerings ng church hindi ito ginagamit para sa kandidatura unlike others na kapag nationwide ang church mapupunta sa main at sa founder hindi po madaming scholar at mga missionaries ang binibigyan ng budget para makipag usap sa iba’t ibang klase ng tao para mailapit kay God.. Elib ako kasi ako mismo nakita ko mismong mga members nila gumagawa ng paraan para pansuporta sa kanya .. donation ng bondpaper,cno gusto magpa print? cno gusto sumama para magkampanya.. ganun kaliit na bagay dahil sa paniniwalang may pagbabago kapag will ng Diyos ang nangyari.. Iba ang will ng tao sa will ng Diyos tayo gumagawa ng future ng bansa natin..Why not na tumakbo Sya kung yun ang calling sa kanya diba? maraming story sa bible na nagserve kay God at pumasok sa pulitika o pamumuno..the good thing is na bless sila at ang bansa nila.. (Abraham,Isaac, King David and many more) Kung sa pera naman kasi kaya nya ma achieve yun ,may napakagandang backround na sya before in academics may 5 doctoral degrees , law ,& hindi sya gumagastos ng limpak limpak para ]lang mabawi sa kaban ng bayan. during His youth palang nakikita mo na yung willingness nya makatulong sa ibang taothat time hindi pa nya kilala ang Diyos dahil sa kahirapang nakikita nya sa bayan nya simpleng studyante at mamamayan hindi ipinanganak na may gintong kutsara sa bibig… on His younger years madami na sya naipakulong na pulis , judge , attorneys?at naipaglaban nya yung 5 hectares ng lupa para sa amin sa PUP para magkaron kami ng magandang edukasyon at binibigay nya lahat ng sweldo nya para sa mga scholar ng maging board member sya sa PUP.. kung ikaw bang simpleng tao maiisip mong gawin yun just for the sake of those little farmers & students? Aside from that believe ako sa taong to dahil na-raise nya ng mabuti yung pamilya nya.. Ika nga .. sa bahay mo unang makikita kung pano kumilos ang isang tao..unlike sa iba jan? ang gulo-gulo nila hindi natatapos ang linggo o buwan na walang issue sa kanila ganung klase ba gusto natin?Notice that kapag ngumingiti si Bro. Eddie napaka aliwalas at full of glory .. sign ng pagka bless sa knya ng God at compassion nya sa mga bagay na gusto nyang gawin.. willingness with pure intention. Search first the background of the candidate hindi porke’t ganun ang nanay at tatay nila or sikat sila,kilala o mayaman, madaming kaalyansa dun tayo? kaya di tau umuunlad dahil sa mga pananaw na ganun? napag iiwanan tayo? Why don’t we try na mabago? bigyan ng pagkakataon ang leader na may takot sa Diyos at Bayan…. First time in our country to have the highest number of candidates running for President. First time to have an automated computerized election, and hopefully our first time to have clean honest counting of votes.
Calling the attention of all filipino voters, not to forget the qualifying 3M’s in choosing the most qualified one of candidates (1) MakaDiyos (GOD fearing) (2) MakaTao (Pro People)
